This Match will begin at 1:15pm on Range 3 \nService Revolver: Service revolvers fired at 50 yds\, 20 shots\, slow fire; 25 yards\, 2×5 shots\, timed fire; 25 yards\, 2×5 shots\, rapid fire. This Match will begin at 2:00pm on Range 3 \n.22 rimfire Pistol: Competitors fire a .22 rimfire pistol\, as defined by the CMP Competition Rules\, over the Pistol National Match Course of fire: 10 shots slow-fire standing\, 50 yards; 10 shots timed-fire standing\, 25 yards; 10 shots rapid-fire standing\, 25 yards. DESCRIPTION:The Civilian Marksmanship Program would like to invite you to join us for a very special match weekend event at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega County\, Alabama. The matches will include a Garand Match\, Springfield Match and a Vintage Military Match commemorating the 81st anniversary of the Allied Forces D-Day landing at Normandy Beach.  We will also have a Garand Iron Match EIC Rifle Match\, Roosevelt Commemorative Match\, Benchrest Garand Match and the Carbine Match.  We will also have the popular Vintage Sniper Team Match where competitors may compete in the match twice in two different classes.  An As-Issued 1911 Pistol Match and Military & Police Pistol Match will also take place on both Friday & Saturday.  The popular M1 Maintenance Clinic and a GSM New Shooter Clinic with live fire will also be available. \n*Competitors that register & pay by May 15 will receive the commemorative D-Day Anniversary Match T-Shirt.  Competitors that register or pay after May 15 may purchase the D-Day T-Shirt at the event for $20.00 (plus tax).*

DESCRIPTION:The CMP invites you to participate in its NSCA Registered Target Sporting Clay Shoots. These events are open to the public; new or inexperienced individuals are welcome. Each event is a one days shoot equaling a total of 100 targets for score for each event. If you enjoy shooting Sporting Clay\, this is your chance to step up and shoot a fun Tournament. \nCost is $55 and registration is available online at Score Chaser. Participants may also register the day of the match at the Club House. All competitors will be required to have a valid Range Safety Card for the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park. Golf carts are available for rent or you can bring your own.

DESCRIPTION:The Talladega “123” Three Day  Carbine class is a three day introduction to platforms such as the AR15\, Mini 14\, SCAR Light\, AK 74\,  etc. \nIn this class you will learn proper zeroing and sighting for your choice of sights and optics.   All manipulations will be thoroughly taught as they apply to your weapon system.  You will fire from a variety of conventional and unconventional shooting positions. Our instructors will show you how to get into and recover from sitting\, kneeling and prone variations.   This course also includes introduction to low light and no light shooting techniques. \nThis class does NOT qualify as a Prerequisite for other classes. However\, it does qualify you for Carbine Range Days.
